Education: Dr. Joshua Landau of Murphy-Wainer Orthopedic Specialists will be presenting a lecture on “Athletic Knee Injuries” on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM as part of the 2010 Surgical Center Medical Lecture Series.
This is a FREE educational program open to the general public. It is provided by the Surgical Care Affiliates Surgical Center of Greensboro and the Orthopaedic Surgical Center in Greensboro.
The lecture will be held in the Lobby of the Surgical Center of Greensboro at 1211 Virginia Street where Dr. Landau will:
Review the anatomy of the knee
List the common sports injuries to the knee
Discuss conservative treatment measures
Explain the benefits of arthroscopic knee surgery for some injuries
Discuss post op care, rehabilitation and physical therapy and outcome
All are welcome to attend!
