OVERVIEW

Knee pain is not uncommon and can affect people of any age. It can be very challenging and make it difficult for you to get around and do all the activities you enjoy. The knee is a complex joint and pain may occur in the front, back or either side of the knee. The pain may result from a congenital deformity, trauma such as an accident or sports injury, or from wear and tear over the years. If you are experiencing knee pain or knee instability, or if you have swelling, are limping, or cannot move your knee, you should seek the advice of a knee specialist.
